    This yearly event will take at Weed Park on May 24, 2015, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

    J. Request to Approve Use of City Property for 4th of July Activities


    This request is from the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and will take place on Saturday, July 4, 2014, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

    K. Request to Approve Use of City Property for 4th of July Parade


    This request is from the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry and will feature a Kid’s Parade from 9-10 a.m. and the Community Parade from 5-6 p.m.

    L. Request to Approve Use of City Property for Great River Days Celebration

       
    This yearly event will take place July 26, 2015 through August 2, 2015.

    M. Request to Approve Use of City Property for HNI Corporation Picnic


    This yearly event will take place on August 16, 2015 at Weed Park from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. It includes the usage of the Aquatic Center.

    1. Resolution Approving the Plans, Specifications, Form of Contract, Cost Estimate and Setting the Bid Opening Date for the Dredge Line Mad Creek Extension Project

    2. Resolution Authorizing the Assessment of Unpaid Abatement Costs to Private Properties
       
      Presented for City Council’s consideration is a resolution authorizing the assessment of unpaid abatement costs to private properties. Periodically city staff provides to City Council a request for the assessment of nuisance abatement costs against private property owners. At this time staff is forwarding the assessment list for unpaid abatement costs totaling $17,687.65. 

      Is there a motion to adopt the resolution as submitted? 
       
             
  12. COMMUNICATIONS - RECEIVE AND FILE



  13. It is recommended bills totaling $1,942,369.19, as well as receipt summaries and journal entries for October, November and December 2014, be approved and that the City Council authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to issue warrants for the same. It should be noted that this listing is subject to the approval of any related agenda item(s).
