Pet owners in the City of Muscatine will soon be able to license dogs and cats through PetData.com, sponsored by the City of Muscatine. The pet owner is responsible for licensing within 30 days of acquiring a pet (or when the pet is six months old).
Annual licenses expire one year from the original date of purchase and must be renewed every year. Multiple-year licenses may be purchased based on whether your pet received a 2- or 3-year rabies vaccine. Multiple year licenses expire two- or three-years from the original date of purchase depending on which multiple-year license was purchased.
Once a pet is licensed, a courtesy annual renewal invoice will be mailed to pet owners from PetData. It is important to ensure your address is up to date with PetData and with your veterinarian.
Once the online registration process goes live, you will be able to register each pet, upload your rabies vaccination certificate and proof of spaying/neutered, and pay the registration fee.
You can also submit the material by mail.
Enclose copies of all required paperwork.
The license application may be downloaded and included, but it is not required.
Determine the correct license fee for each of year pets.
Make your check or money order payable to "Muscatine Animal Licensing."
