Phase 5 West Hill Sewer Separation Project (WHSSP)

Update: October 23, 2023

Phase 5 Road Closure Diagram October 23, 2023 (JPG)

Hagerty Earthworks, Inc., unofficially opened Lucas Street from Logan to Fletcher over the weekend, allowing all normal traffic patterns. Fletcher is also open from both directions.

However, Lucas Street remains a construction zone with heavy construction equipment on site in several areas for a few more weeks as work continues on courtesy sidewalks, backfilling, and seeding. All projects areas of LUcas, West 8th Street, and Climer are accessible to all vehicles.

Knott Street is not open to traffic. The paving on Knott has been removed and is being prepared for new paving. Weather permitting, repaving Knott will begin this week.

Drivers are reminded to be alert for construction workers who may be working near the sides of the street, that there may be traffic delays as restoration work continues from West 4th Street to Fletcher Avenue, and to obey all traffic control devices that remain in the area. Traffic fines are doubled in construction zones.
